Richer than a Millionaire is a participatory and artistic program by social designer Madelinde Hageman & design anthropologist Tina Lenz that runs from 2023 to 2025. Together with participants, we want to look at poverty and wealth in a radically new way and shape emotional capital. During co-creating workshops we work with partners in Amsterdam, Arnhem, Zwolle and Groningen on a collection of visual expressions in which people give meaning to their experiences, expectations and perceptions to make the emotional experience of poverty and wealth more discussable and shareable. With this program we aim to actively involve people from different layers in society and stimulate conversations between groups from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds to strengthen social cohesion.
