May 2024, I gave a lecture about ‘Seeing Others’ with an in-depth session on ‘the art of dialogue’ to the Projectmanagementpoule of NS Operation: Projects & Trajects of the Dutch train company NS in Utrecht. During the workshop, the method Conversation Piece was used to practice how to design a conversation yourself. The participants used matchboxes with emotions as an artistic intervention, in order to better share personal perspectives with each other in a cultural sensitive way.
