French anthropologist and philosopher Bruno Latour (who died last year) found that after COVID the question ‘Where am I?’ had become relevant as society had undergone a metamorphosis. Latour searched for answers about how to live together and what role reciprocity plays. Based on the research question, I went into the field with students of Human Geography & Planning Utrecht University and we asked 172 residents & commuters about their emotions living in the neighbourhood Leidsche Rijn. The research can be seen at RAUM. You dream here, you sleep at home!
